Ladies and gentlemen of the Oregon Bartending community. The Oregon Bartenders Guild is proud to announce our association with the United States Bartenders Guild as their Oregon chapter. This has been a process years in the making, and not a decision made easily, but this relationship should have fantastic mutual benefit and help bring Oregon forward on the national bartending scene.
Anyone with any questions or concerns are welcome to e-mail [email protected]. We will gladly bring forth an open discussion on how this decision was made, and what the USBG brings to Oregon.
As such, we will begin collecting Membership dues. We are offering an early-adapter discounted membership of $50 dollars. This will be ongoing until May 1st, when the dues will be brought up to the standard $100. Dues are payable at the link below via paypal, or if you would rather do cash or check, we will be posting a list of bars and events where we are able to take dues, and have you fill out an application.
Current members will be kept on the mailing list, but will have to become dues-paying to be listed on the site, and receive other benefits of membership. For more information on the benefits of membership, please see our become a member page.
The paypal link below will lead you to a google form after paying. Once this is filled out and dues are collected, we will send this to the USBG National office, where they will process your national membership. Memberships are valid for one year. There is a host of benefits to being an OBG member, including access to the USBG Masters Accreditation programs, entry into USBG contests, event ticket discounts, and a few things we are working on specifically for the Oregon Bartenders Guild members.
Thank you very much, and we appreciate all the support in putting this relationship together with our bartending brothers and sisters across our nation, and the world. Cheers!
