Well, I've received 3 invites to private events at Tales already (sigh). Maybe next year. Has anyone gotten any to something particularly interesting? I got invited to some shindig with the head distiller at Beefeaters and an absinthe thing (for the life of me I can't remember #3). All look like great fun.
I got an invite to the same Beefeater event. I also got one for an Andy Warhol-themed party sponsored by Martini & Rossi (according to the invite, Warhol did an ad campaign for them back in the 50's).
I don't know how many (if any) of these I'll RSVP to. These things can be really fun, but if it's a choice between a corporate event and hanging with my fellow booze nerds, I'm going with the hang.
